Advanced Techniques for IVC Filter Removal OnDemand

Meet the Experts Webinar

Introducing our new webinar series, with expert faculty and attendees interacting in small groups that encourage shared learning and an intimate feel. These one-hour webinars will focus on topics that are relevant and timely to vascular surgeons in practice.

Advanced Techniques for IVC Filter Removal

With the increased volume of inferior filters placed there is increasing attention on inferior vena cava filter retrieval. Retrieval can be complicated by filters with additional dwell time or filters that are difficult to remove because of anatomic or device-related issues. To address these difficult-to-remove filters, advanced filter retrieval techniques may be required.

Target Audience

Vascular surgeons in vascular practice.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify optimal filter retrieval timing
  • Understand standard techniques for filter retrieval
  • Know when and how to safely utilize advance techniques for inferior vena cava filter removal

This CE Activity is supported through an educational grant provided by W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc.
